As I write this, Christmas Eve 2019, I have no website. I am quite overdue on my hosting fee. My site has, therefore, been offline since November. Fortunately, I am diligent about backups (though not so diligent about frequent updates).
Anyhoo, I have finished my last gig of the year, of the decade, even. I
came home yesterday from Pittsburgh, where I performed yet another Balthazar
in Amahl and the Night Visitors with Resonance Works |
Pittsburgh. This was my fifth time in the role with them,
and my seventh production with them overall. I keep going back because
keep hiring me I love working with them. It’s always like coming back home.
I don’t know what’s in store for me musically in this coming year. My one New York audition was an unmitigated disaster, so I have nothing in the pipeline. I’m not worried, though. I think I’m singing well right now. I may have found the cause of my acid reflux. Things look promising for next audition season.
As always, time will tell.
